This is a third interview with you Sabi and it feels great to be in a continued touch with you and seeing your success day by day. Congratulations for your second Novel.

There are few questions from me that I am sure even readers wanted to know about so how have the past two years changed your life after your first book launch?

So you talked about clear goals in life, what are the goals that we are going to see you accomplishing in next few years?

Actually, it’s a secret. At the end when they will fulfill everybody will know.

There is an inspiration for everything and when we talk about” Knocked out - a Crispy Punch of Love” Where the inspiration came from?

The Writer inside this Beast of a Man inspired me to keep going and never stop. I didn’t want to end up being a one book wonder when I have so many stories floating around in my head. So, I just pulled one out from the closet and penned it down.

And Walla!! Knocked Out was born…

That’s really great to be inspired by the own soul, so what was the audience response after they heard about your second book?

They backed me up and are always very encouraging. They like to watch me grow and succeed. I owe a lot to them as I wouldn’t be here if they hadn’t accepted me as a Writer.

 The first book was a love story, which was the incident that made you write next book on a sport?

I’ve always been into sports.

Football, Hockey, Athletics, Boxing and Bodybuilding. Sports has taught me discipline and has helped me grow as a person. I’ve taken a lot from sports and it was time to give something back.

Was writing the second novel a different experience when compared to your debut novel?

         The only difference was that during Via Delhi, I was jobless so I had all the time in the world to write it. During Knocked Out I was professionally a little more sorted so it was all about time management.

So how did you manage the time and what was the normal working day in life while shaping up the novel?

                       Everything remained the same except for me cutting down on leisure time. I stopped watching movies and documentaries which I usually do after getting back home from the office. I cut that off completely and dedicated a couple of hours to writing every night.

That is really a serious hard work you did in completing the novel. It is a tough decision to follow dream by really doing something for it and devoting your time regularly. What were things that kept your focus on without any deviations?

It’s a story about child who saw education as wisdom to live happily after attaining it. The child knows only one thing that to be good and respected in the society you should have a good education. He studied hard to get this; he went around every corner of the world to get it. He didn’t sleep for many years just got lost in the piles of books. He studied really hard to understand each word and sentence of the subjects he was seeking for the wisdom. He was having a high hope that after completing his education he can get whatever he wants but the fact was something else.

After completing the education child went back to his town seeking for respect and honor but nobody gave damn about this child turned young man. He tried to start a conversation with few of them but nobody replied in a manner he was seeking for. He was distress about the behavior of the people from his own town. He told some of them about his journeys around the world and the education he received by studying many parts of the world and again nobody gives a damn about this too. On the contrary he saw the people having piles of money instead of books are more respected in the society and all the educated people work under them to get respected.

He got one clue about the society that being respected doesn’t have any relation with the education. Education is meant for earning bread and butter. Soon he realized one more fact when people start asking him about his work. He told them about his interest in teaching and writing for the society , people laughed on him and said if you have to do this only why did you went to study so far ? You could go into the same profession from here also. People told him that go and get a job.

He was confused as everybody was telling him to get a job, instead after getting so much knowledge he was interested in changing the face of the society but nobody was interested in his money free mission. Then one day even his family told him to find his own butter to live the life and support them. Soon he realized that the world runs by money and education is one of the fuel to make it running. He went across many corporate sectors to find a job and everybody was asking to do something else apart from his education. He was totally disturbed by the employer’s question that want him to be like donkey who do only that work from which corporate is benefitted.

Finally he got a job that is little bit similar to the one he wanted to do. He joined the firm and astonished by the fact that people having less knowledge are on the higher positions just by doing some tantrums that is called relationship skills with the bosses. Being a highly educated man he was getting into depression by doing each of the garbage work he provided for. Soon he saw all the education is in the hand of few big money making people. If education can give money to them, they are interested into making it to reach the entire world if not they are trying to hide it.

He encountered many people having just one passion to earn money, even the people who got good education now have one goal to just keep move on the corporate ladder and earn money. He got so many shocks after joining the company that he started hating the whole education system. He got the answer why all the money with some of the people and rest all the world beg for cloth , shelter and food.

The books I read about entrepreneurship, the movies I watched on business all teaches me to start something by my own but it’s the luck or destiny I never tried to start. I often think many times to do something by my own, but my soul never allow me to do so. Though 40 subjects that I read in b.tech never inspired me but these 10 books do. These books made me hate the education system but as I have already completed my one year graduating from college, I can tell you a lesson “education system was never wrong and neither these books but the personality inside us has to decide what to do in life. One cannot simply become an entrepreneur by just reading the books and neither can become an engineer by just reading the course. There is practical that need to be implement before arguing about anything and as I got a chance to implement practical’s on the theory that I read in my course into the job, I never felt it like a burden. There is a difference between a career and a job and once you think a job as a career life will be pretty easy for sure. The life is not all about one or two failure it is a marathon nobody knows when we pick up the speed to win at last”

I was at the age of 12 wanted to achieve big, something that nobody even imagine for getting from my village. Even today when I see myself comparing to that age I do not find anywhere close to that desire. The boy who wants to dream big for which he even wants to leave his hometown, family, relatives and all the comfort zones just to get education in an English medium school is more eager to get his dreams than a well settled IT engineer cum writer here.

I remember the hot summer June of my class 8^th exams, when one thing astonished me, it was the notice that from 9^th onwards our medium of study is going to be Hindi (U.P.Board). The moment was like some attack for me. I was studying in the best school in the town and in that too if I can’t afford English medium learning then where is my future? I knew clearly that if it is not now then I can never be able to achieve my dreams.

I was silent for few days and then one day I told my parents about my aspirations, my parents as always of supportive nature supported my decision and helped me to get admission in the top school of the district. At that time may be many of parents can take their hands back because of hefty tuition and hostel fees of the school but my parents not even helped but travelled with me step by step in every test, interviews and all possible destinations. The decision was bold to take and that’s why it became the turning point of my life.

I felt very bad in the first few days and nights away from home and family, living  in between some unknown person  in an unknown place so called Hostel. For the first few months I was not able to sleep properly, sometimes in a loneliness I wanted to weep but as I see my dreams I knew that it is the only path to achieve it, if I cannot manage this right now I will not be able to do it anytime in future . I worked hard in those years. I got some best teachers and friends in the journey. Friends who left their home to travel the self-made path of their dreams like me, teachers who teach me how to survive in odd situations, how to fight to earn the dreams. Each lesson was the miracle for me that changed me completely.

This was the turning decision that changed my perspective towards life; it was the decision because of which I am writing a blog here. Whether getting meritorious position in math’s Olympiad or getting attention because of my debates skills everywhere this decision played a great role. I can never imagine myself to be here if I had not taken that decision.

The decision that took me with itself from cities to cities as well as from people to people giving me more experience, chaos, craziness, adventures and amazing lifestyles. Whenever I see back I see this decision that changed my destination.

“Childhood promises “what is it?

There were promises we made in our childhood with our self that one day when I will grow up then I will do this or that activity in my spare and leisure time .As most of us already grown up but don’t try to fulfill any promises . Check this picture for sometime ….

 Yeah you got it I am not a great artist but I am also not pretending to be. This picture is only the creation of my mind that is showing my bad art skills but a serious topic.

Do you have ever realized that life is very fast? One time we promise particular thing and other time we promise some different things. We know from our heart that if it is not going to happen this time it will never happen again but still we neglect it at a particular point and throw it to in some unknown future time which will never going to come.

There were many hobbies like painting, singing, writing, playing, dancing, reading e.t.c we love to do in our childhood. Even for some hobby we could fight for anyone but as we grow up slowly everything becomes happening for a reason. We start making decisions about profits and loss in our time and all the hobbies were getting lost in some corner with each passing time.

My question is all about why people neglect all those things that they liked in their childhood. There is a difference between passion and hobby people must understand it. When I see some 20-25 people playing games on a ground I feel happy. When I see some smile on the face of a working man I see clear satisfaction in his/her eyes. That’s all just because they are following their hobby. At the age of 35-45 some people wants to get back their 20’s to live it again because they never did anything when they were having energy to do that, now they feel bored like a typical people who lost their life in doing some activities that they never liked in their life. 

So never regret for past do at present what you can .Its all about living life to the fullest extent and fullest means “ THE WAY WE USE TO SEE LIFE IN OUR CHILDHOOD”.

As we move around in our life, we find our self on verge of paths diverting in many directions, Sometimes we clear about it but most of the time confused about it.

Do you ever thought what resist you to have success in a particular field?

Do you ever realize the reason of not attaining the greater heights in your career which you can do in an easy way?

Do you ever thought for a while to look on the techniques that you were following in your past?

Do you ever feel the pain of not achieving the things which you really want to achieve from heart?

May be NO or YES But I did and got the reason for it during my last year self discovery process. It is the lack of perfection and patience that stops us every time we try to achieve something. You cannot catch a rabbit by following two. You have to choose one to follow it wisely. Similar is the case with anything you want to achieve. Few points can help…

1) Concentrate on one thing at a time.

2) Give your 100% in achieving it.

3) Perfect your art of learning and acting upon it.

4) Never think about its failure after you started working on it.

5) Ignore all the voices around you which stop to do it.

There are not one, two or three things that can take you away from goals but there are many. You have to think after each situation to take decision on it. We cannot simply run from it. There are thousands of moments when we are just on the verge of getting success and at the instant we take a decision to move back. I don’t think it’s a great thing to do.

We have to wait for the results from our hard work. A seed does not become tree in one day it takes lot of years by going through processes similar is the case with our goals . We can not get all the things at one night , we have to wait and have to keep patience to get the fruits of our hard work.

True dreams and passion! Do they exist in real world or not? Yes they exists .They exists to chase dreams, to follow passions, to live extraordinary life, to tell stories, to give success secrets, to generate examples, to set targets, to make guidelines.

 The professionalism inside the country is more dominated by doctors and engineers. Parents never wants to see serving their son/daughter as a sports person, as a designer, as a writer, as a poet, as a lawyer, as a traveler e.t.c. they want to set a life for their son/daughter as an engineer or doctor so that they should have some respect in the society but the time starts changing slowly from last few decades. Children observed the environment very carefully and started building dreams around them. Now they want to follow the dreams, they want to live the passion inside them.

An example from my life - I struggled in class 9^th after changing my school from up board to CBSE. It was not the simple struggle but struggle of words, where everything changed from Hindi scripts to the English. I was very weak in English at those days even its very hard for me to pass the exams it may be the unit tests. In final exams just manage to get exact passing marks 40 but my burning desire to do something make me forced to learn this language and that was the force that converted this 40 to 75 in boards  .

 It was the year 2010 just after the class 12^th; I was confused regarding my career options. I want to study technology; I want to convert the creativity inside me into the real world. I didn’t know how it can be done as the creativity in earlier days I had expressed through paintings, through Hindi poetry, through participating in Hindi speech and debates but as I had to choose something. I had chosen Computer Science & Engineering in B.tech although many suggested go for Civil or Mechanical Engineering they are core branches, you will be going to struggle in CSE but my mind said no take this and I opted this as my career. The decision was perfect and yes I am chasing my dreams some are fulfilled already some will be going too fulfilled soon. As part of placements I am already placed in TCS.

I hadn't told the story to talk about me but to feel the generation that if anybody is following his dreams, it must be follow till the end. If anybody is making the career in his/her passion, it always forces to perform best in one’s field. The person never feels tired at any point while following his/her passion and it always motivates the person to work for longer time even the person never feel it work ever.

In my journey I had seen many people who are following their dreams living their passion by fighting with the parents, friends or relatives. They are writers, poets, designers, journalists, lawyers, entrepreneurs and businessmen most important they all are on a path of success now and the same people praising them for following their passion for what they were fighting 4 years back.

So you are doing fine in your work , you are also one of the best person in your career throughout your life, you had got a lot of awards and prizes for yourself and also make contribution in your organization growth , you have an awesome past that reflects your behavior and personalities about who you are ? Your colleagues inspire from you and always want tips from you, you also got the best performance in you and you are known for it to the whole world? SO DID THE YUVRAJ SINGH ………..

I am a very complex writer so you miss a single attention and you will end with no learning, so keep yourself attached to this article till the end to get maximum from it, yeah I know you are thinking about what Yuvraj Singh can teach us, he is a cricketer and in last inning he choked and performed worst inning of his career, that’s the only point from which I will tell you the human behavior that can teach you not to choke in life ever.

So there are basic three terminology used for symbolizing time in one’s life that is: PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE, I will talk about it only –

PAST-   Past is a great source of knowledge about which you are today, whatever you have performed in your last decade is something with which people understand your personality. Maybe you were best, may be you were worst, any achievement you have achieved, any failure you have received all comes in your past and your present is known from that experience only. All his performances says he is best and he fights for cancer, return back, even he can’t hold spoon after surgery but he returned back and hold bat that’s the best he can do from himself, you had all have similar experiences but at a point when you have all things and you are known to the world, why should care about more performances. Learn these points from your past….

PRESENT – present is what you are today, try to live it accordingly who you are today, maybe you have a lot money in your past and everyday you went for the party to enjoy it but today you haven’t so cut the parties and accept today situation, YUVRAJ SINGH faced the same situation, he had a power in hand from which he earned name but today he doesn’t. Still he is trying to prove and that’s why this happened to him. May be the same situation with you, “you can earn position in a sector from you prestige but not performance”. Learn these points from your past..

Then what to do …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

FUTURE -   future is about what you are going to do in your future from understanding present situations and values. if your answer is NO then you should try to find the opportunities from which you can earn more name and fame related to that section and best is you can be a mentor , you can be a coach , you can be advisor , you can be a host .you can start your own business , firm . You can write a book so that other can understand how you have achieved all this. You can help others understanding how to remain calm and positive after quitting from career. Learn these points for your future….
